From Manhattan, Kansas.

Yeah, we’re still in Kansas.  Getting a little tired of it, in all honesty.  It’s hot as hell, all the beer is Bud Light, and it’s not even flat. 

On the upside, we don’t have to camp tonight! Warm Showers hosts Sherryl and Morgan, two vets who work at the University of Kansas, have taken us in for the night.  It’ll be really nice to sleep in some ac!

Our plans have changed pretty dramatically over the past week.  Due to lack of funds, among other things, the Tandooris are catching a flight back to Baltimore on Tuesday night!  It’s been fun and all, but we’re looking forward to going home.  And never being in Kansas ever again.  (Nicole wrote this while Evan fell asleep on the floor.)
