The Peugeot - Death and Rebirth
Thank you Alastair for helping to convert The Peugeot to a tour worthy bicycle. It held strong across the country and continued to even after returning to Baltimore, onto Western Maryland, off to Texas and Central PA, then all the way out to Western PA where we are now in Pittsburgh.
But was it ever bulky, heavy and sluggish! Cleaned and freshly oiled - meet the new Peugeot:

Backbone Farm - Blog #3
Hello hello! The Tandooris offer another chapter of their adventures on and off Backbone Farm. The opening picture is of a flatbed carrying a giant propeller through Oakland. This is one of the three propellers that are stuck on to electricity generating windmills, which are shooting up all over the ridges of the surrounding mountains.

AHA! The last of the paper wasps inhabiting the overhang of the cabin roof. This was a monumental occasion for Evan, marking the end of his fear to walk in or out of the front door.

When last we left you guys were staying in Auburn, CA with the wonderful Chris and Linda. On Thursday, the 10th of June we left Auburn after having a great breakfast and meeting a “bitchin’ ‘ol dodger” named Scotty. We passed over the second highest bridge in the country, went down and back up hundreds of feet and pushed on until we got to Placerville.
